Introduce Yourself to Our Audience:
What is your favorite song to sing in the show and why?
The very last song “God Bless Us Everyone” is so beautiful, not only musically but the message it sends. Everyone knows the classic line from this story and ending the show with it in song is so heartwarming and reminds you how wonderful the Christmas season is.
What is the most rewarding part of being part of such a large ensemble cast?
With such a large cast, everyone brings their own talents to the group and we all help each other in the rehearsal process and feed off of each other’s energy in performances. It makes the entire process so much fun – there’s never a dull moment!
What is your favorite part of the creative process, whether it be during rehearsals or performances?
I love the team at CTC because they allow us to be silly and have fun at rehearsals and that helps us relax in order to get the work done. The fun we have at rehearsals makes its way on to the stage and we hope the audience enjoys the show as much as we do!
How does the energy of the audience impact your performance?
Hearing the reactions to what we have worked so hard to present gives me a huge boost of confidence. I’m going to go on stage and give you 110% regardless but it definitely helps boost our energy to know the audience is loving what we are doing.
What sort of person is going to love this show?
Everyone! It’s a beautiful, classic story and the whole family will love it. Unless you’re a Grinch. Oops… wrong show…

“Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent’s snappy book makes us laugh while the catchy songs (Ahrens also wrote the lyrics) leave us tapping our feet; together, the music and movement contains an irrepressible happiness.” – Arifa Akbar, The Guardian
“Although this is a Christmas show, it does have universal themes that may resonate with people of all faiths. The story reminds us of all the poor and lonely people who need help to survive. It brings up continuing battles for compassion and equality, that are as evident today as they were in 1844 London.” – Jennifer Goldman, Daily Democrat
