Tickets on Sale for The Foreigner at Connecticut Theatre Company
Tickets are now on sale for Connecticut Theatre Company’s hilarious stage production of The Foreigner, which will be running at The Repertory Theatre in New Britain from February 14 until March 2, 2014. Those interested in purchasing tickets may do so online at www.connecticuttheatrecompany.org. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and children.
The Foreigner is a comedic play set in a rural fishing lodge in Georgia. Froggy LeSeuer, a British explosives expert, often visits the lodge while training nearby at an army base. On this particular visit, Froggy has brought along his friend Charlie, who suffers from a crippling fear of making conversation with strangers. Before leaving Charlie at the lodge, Froggy tells all of the inhabitants that Charlie is from an exotic foreign country and does not speak English. As a result, Charlie quickly hears more than he should from the other inhabitants, as they believe he doesn’t understand a word they are saying.
The production is the inaugural show for Connecticut Theatre Company, a non-profit theatre arts organization that is committed to entertaining, education and enriching the central Connecticut community through the performing arts. Connecticut Theatre Company owns and operates the Repertory Theatre in New Britain and is bringing a full season to the stage including The Foreigner, Fiddler on the Roof, Rent, Chicago, Wizard of Oz and The Christmas Schooner. Tickets to all these great shows and season tickets are now available on the website.
